About Anna

I am a licensed mental health counselor by the State of Indiana, LMHC.  I am also a licensed clinical addictions counselor on the State and National level, LCAC. I am an AASECT certified sex therapist.   I am a graduate of Indiana University with a BA in Psychology and Criminal Justice.  I completed my Master’s degree at Ball State University in Counseling Psychology.  Working in addictions has always been a passion of mine and one that I never tire from, that’s what I call a passion,  something that you have an outgoing interest in and desire for learning.  I would say this is how I feel about the field of counseling and psychology as a whole.  I am a fortunate person in that I know this has been the right career path for me and it has allowed me the opportunity to do many different things.  These experiences have led to my outgoing professional and personal growth and I am confident that I will be doing this in some form the rest of my life.  Over the course of my career, I have worked with some very reputable agencies in challenging positions.  In 2007, I began working on my own in private practice.  This in itself presented new growth opportunities for me and it has been great in allowing me the independence to pursue on going learning while in practice.  Over the last 2 years, I have been working toward my certification as an Imago therapist. As an Imago therapist, I work with couples as they go through their journeys together.  Entering into therapy whether individual, couples, or family therapy is a challenging experience, and one that requires your own commitment to the process. In the process of our discomfort or pain there is growth. In this process is one of the greatest gifts that we give to ourselves and those we love, the choice to live our lives consciously.  It is my pleasure to be on this journey with you!
